My prayer watch is really a part of my life and 24/7 prayer has changed my life. It gives me so much strength. Sometimes it happens that when I take my watch I feel so heavy. However when I draw close to God in worship, I feel released and refreshed. A new strength will take over and the joy of the LORD will fill me again.

A big part of 24/7 prayer is praise and worship. The music and message has a big influence on the presence of the Lord. As we praise the Lord the presence of God will fill the place. It is funny how the Lord taught me that the presence of God is depending on my focus and faith. If I am not focused the presence of the Lord will be much lower, however when I give the Lord all my attention the presence of God will get stronger and stronger, sometimes so strong that I can’t stand anymore. The presence of God will be all over me…

During my prayer watches I really want to hear from the Lord. It is so important to receive a message from the Lord. If I don’t receive any word from the Lord I feel very unsatisfied. However, when I receive a word from the Lord it gives me life. I feel refreshed and strengthened in my spirit.

24/7 prayer has helped me so much in developing a close and intimate relationship with the LORD. If I don’t have this time or prayer with the Lord my spiritual walk is really affected. If I do not have fellowship with the Lord my walk with the Lord becomes more difficult and temptations like worldly pleasures will overtake. It is so easy to get distracted with the things of the world. However as a Christian we are in the world but we should not be part of the world (1 John 2:15-17). Therefore Jesus told HIS disciples to pray so that they may not enter into temptation (Luke 22:40). It is through 24/7 prayer that I continue to grow in the LORD. Through 24/7 prayer God has become more real and closer to me. 24/7 prayers has become a part of my life, my day is not complete when I don’t meet with the Lord.

I thank the Lord that HE called me to House of Prayer. A place where I can draw on living waters, be refreshed, satisfied through HIS presence, experience peace and joy as I seek HIS face. It is such a privilege to kneel at the feet of Jesus.

My desire is to see HIM face to face and experience HIS transforming power in my life. How I wish that more people could experience HIS presence. What an awesome God we serve!
